Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Supply Development Process

Until 2022, Hanifay participated in e-commerce platforms with its own sourced products across various categories, gaining significant experience in both infrastructure and operational capabilities during this period. As a result of Hanifay’s digitalization vision, the ShopoBus brand (https://www.shopobus.com) was developed and, in the second half of 2022, transformed from an e-commerce platform into an online marketplace. This allowed Hanifay to bring buyers and sellers together under a single roof, offering user-friendly solutions and adopting a service approach centered on customer satisfaction.

Leveraging its technological infrastructure to establish a reliable trade network at both local and national levels, the company has entered a new phase to transfer the experience it gained in e-commerce into its foreign trade activities.

Growth in Foreign Trade, Fruits and Vegetables Supply Network

As of 2024, Hanifay Ltd. Şti. began operating in the foreign trade sector and initially tested its international trade processes through the import of machinery spare parts. The experience gained during this period paved the way for the company to address the increasing export demands in the food products sector.

Leveraging Turkey’s agricultural potential, Hanifay has conducted extensive field studies in the Çukurova region (between Mut and Hatay) and the Aegean region (Aydın, Manisa, and Bursa). During this process, collaborative discussions were held with hundreds of fruit and vegetable producers, farmers, wholesale brokers, and cold storage operators, resulting in the establishment of a wide-ranging supply chain.

Following this strategic structuring, as of 2025, Hanifay’s primary field of activity was updated to ‘463104 – Wholesale Trade of Other Fresh Fruits and Vegetables (including potatoes).’ The company expanded its operational capacity through a capital increase and, in February of the same year, registered in the Market Registration Information System (Hal Kayıt Bilgi Sistemi) as an ‘Exporter and Trader’ under tax number 4571177918. Additionally, Hanifay formalized its position in the sector by becoming a member of the Mediterranean Exporters’ Association (AKİB) with registration number 3/48317.
